Built in 1908 by A.H. (Harvey) Winger who was a clerk at the Bell Springs Creamery and later a clerk at the H.C. Litts Store, a well-established men's clothing store in Abilene. Owned by Isaac Shockey, a senior partner in Shockey and Landes Hardware and Implement business.
