Calvin and Betty Strowig House

This home has remained in the Strowig family since its construction in 1954 by Calvin A. and Betty Lou Strowig. Calvin served in the Kanas State House of Representatives from 1963-1972, as Majority Leader from 1968-1969, and as Speaker of the House from 1969-1972. He also partnered with his father and brother in the Plaza Theater and Trail's End Drive-In Theater. The home is currently owned by one of the Strwig daughters.
